Steve from http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/ has come up with this very cool program that helps make the patterns for these nice name key chians. I have cut several this week end getting ready for the craft show season. We are trying to decide if we want to do a few wummer shows or not. We have been invited to 3 shows this summer and early fall. Normally we only do Christmas shows. I guess we will just have to see how things go.
This has been an exceptionally busy late spring and ealry summer for us this year. I am sure I mentioned that my oldest daughter got married and 2 week later my youngest daughter graduated from college. To top it all of right ow is the busiest time of the year for where I work, things should start to slow down in a few weeks for a brief period of time.
I will try to get this blog up and running better since I deleted my last one and cannot get it back.

1 day before the wedding

Ok Its 1 day before my oldest daughter gets married. Everything has been going pretty good so far, even with half the flowers not coming thru due to a company closing its doors 2 weeks before the wedding.
My sister is up from Virginia, I do not get to see her bery often. she brought up my adorable grand niece who is 5 years old and has about 1000 times the energy that I do. I was hoping a dip in the hot tub after the 13 hour ride would wond Jesse down but again I was wrong. My baby is 22 years old and getting ready to graduate from college in a mere 2 weeks. My oldest daughter is getting married saturday. Have I mentioned that we are way stressed out. I hope to have some wedding refersal and then some wedding pictures to post in the next day or so. My future son in law will be spending the night with us tonight and my mother should be spending the night with us Saturday night after the wedding. I believe Sunday my wife and I will not get out of bed. I do so need some beauty sleep.
I also hope to be back on my saw in a week or so.

Tap hole maple key holder

I am trying to get restarted in my blog thanks to me deleteing the last one. this is a piece of maple with the tap holes in it. the tap holes are where someone has tapped the tree so the sap runs out into s buicket that is hung on the spout. I have found a few old taps and made a key holder for our living room. I have not had much time to spend in my basement, thanks to my 2 daughters. one is getting married 2 weeks from today and the youngest is graduating from college 2 weeks after that. I have been a wee bit busy working on stuff for them. My oldest daughter wanted 100 baseball ornaments cut out to use as napkin holders for her reception. this is currently in work. I have most of them cut and my wife is sanding them getting them ready for a finish. As soon as the wedding is over I plan on getting busy for the Christmas Holiday craft show circuit. We have been woking on more contacts and trying to figure out how we can do more shows this next season.

Here we go again.....

I may do ok on the scrollsaw, I do not do as well on the information superhighway. As I am trying to colsolidate and just have 2 e-mail accounts, 1 for work and 1 for non work I deleted my Gmail account this morning, much to my surprise as I did that, it deleted my old Blog. I started that blog when I really started scollsawing and it was part of me. Unfortunately it was a part of me that I guess I have to let go now, since it say I do not exist. Ok time to start new. Here are 2 of my signs that are relatively recent. I completed them last month. the Elvis was done for a friends birthday and the Boston was given to my oldest daughter for her wedding shower last month. both of the signs were cut out of maple. I will be posting this at a few scrollsaw sights that I haunt and I hope to have folks look at these as much as they did my last blog. I promise not to delete any more e-mail accounts without further investigations. Thank you for hanging in there with me Geno
